Privacy policy

Last updated October 8, 2026. Effective October 8, 2026.

Who we are

Lead Receive LLC is a limited liability company registered in Michigan, United States. We run text message campaigns for home-service businesses such as window cleaners, roofers and HVAC companies, and pass interested homeowners back to the business that hired us.

In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Lead Receive LLC. "You" means anyone whose information we hold, whether you are a homeowner we contacted, a business that hired us, or a visitor to this site. We are the party responsible for the information described here.

You can reach us at contact@leadreceive.com.

The short version

We do not sell your personal information, and we never share mobile phone numbers with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

If you got a text from us and want it to stop, reply STOP. That number is removed permanently, across every business we work with, not just the one that texted you. You do not need to explain why and you do not need to contact us.

The rest of this page sets out what we hold, where it came from and what we do with it. If anything here is unclear, email us and we will answer in plain terms.

What we collect

What we hold depends on who you are.

If you are a homeowner we contacted

  • Property information: the address, the type of property, roughly when it was built, its assessed or estimated value, how long it has been owned, and whether the owner appears to live there.
  • Contact information: the property owner's name, mailing address, and one or more phone numbers, along with whether each number is a mobile or a landline and whether it appears on the National Do Not Call Registry.
  • Messages: the text we sent you, anything you sent back, and when each was sent or received.
  • A record of the outcome, such as that you asked for a quote, said you were not interested, or asked us to stop.

If you are a business that hired us

  • Your business name, the name and phone number of the person who should receive leads, the areas you want to work in, and what you are willing to spend.
  • Any customer list you choose to send us, which we use to work out what your best customers have in common.
  • Records of the campaigns we ran for you and what they produced.

If you are visiting this site

This page does not use advertising or analytics cookies and does not track you across other sites. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which may include your IP address and browser type, for security and reliability.

Where homeowner information comes from

We want to be direct about this, because it is the question most people have when they get a message from a company they have never dealt with.

If we texted you, you did not give us your number. We did not get it from a form you filled in, a competition you entered, or a business you bought from.

  • Property information comes from public records, including county assessor and recorder filings, supplied to us through licensed property data providers.
  • Contact information comes from licensed data providers who compile phone numbers and addresses from public and commercially available sources.
  • We check numbers against the National Do Not Call Registry and against our own list of people who have asked not to be contacted.

We only look up contact details for the smaller set of homes that match what a particular business serves. We do not look up everyone in an area.

How we use it

  • To work out which homes a business is likely to be able to help, so we contact fewer people rather than more.
  • To send one short message asking whether you would like a quote.
  • To read your reply and decide what happens next: pass you to the business, answer your question, or stop contacting you.
  • To pass your details to the one business you asked for a quote from, so it can get back to you.
  • To keep a record of opt-outs so we do not contact you again.
  • To measure how campaigns performed, so we can target more carefully next time. This uses counts and rates, not your individual details.
  • To meet our legal and regulatory obligations and to keep records of consent and opt-out requests.

Text messages

Our messages are sent by Lead Receive LLC on behalf of a home-service business. The message carries the first name of the person at that business who would follow up with you.

  • Frequency. We send one opening message. If you reply, you may get a short exchange of a few messages to arrange a quote. If you do not reply, you may receive at most one follow-up. This is not a recurring subscription and there is nothing to unsubscribe from beyond telling us to stop.
  • To stop. Reply STOP to any message. You can also reply with any clear request to stop, and we will treat that the same way. Nothing further will be sent to that number.
  • For help. Reply HELP, or email contact@leadreceive.com.
  • Costs. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your plan and carrier. We do not charge you anything.
  • Delivery. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • Hours. We send only between 8am and 9pm in the time zone of the property we are contacting, and we follow the stricter limit where a state sets one.
  • Mobile only. We send to mobile numbers. Landlines are dropped before anything is sent.

Who we share it with

No mobile information is sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with anyone.

There are three cases where information does leave us, and that is all of them.

  • The business you asked for a quote from. If you reply saying you want a quote, we pass your name, the property address, your phone number and what you asked for to that one business, so it can respond. That is the thing you asked for. We do not pass your details to any other business, and we do not pass the details of people who did not ask.
  • Service providers who work for us. The telephone carrier that delivers our messages, the data providers described above, and our hosting provider. They may only use the information to provide that service to us.
  • Where the law requires it. To comply with a law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable government request, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

If our business is ever sold or merged, information may transfer as part of that transaction. Any buyer would be bound by this policy for information collected under it, and we would say so on this page before anything changed.

Do not contact and suppression

When you ask us to stop, we add your number to a suppression list that applies to every business we work with and every campaign we run. It is not limited to the business that contacted you.

We keep that record indefinitely, because deleting it is the one thing that would allow you to be contacted again by mistake. If you also want the rest of what we hold about you deleted, tell us and we will do that while keeping the bare minimum needed to honour your opt-out, which is the number itself.

How long we keep it

  • Opt-out records: indefinitely, so that we never contact you again.
  • Message records: at least four years, which is the period we may need them to show we handled a request properly.
  • Property and contact details for people who did not reply: kept while a campaign is running and for our own record of who has been contacted, so the same people are not contacted repeatedly.
  • Business customer records: for as long as we work together, and afterwards as our records and tax obligations require.

How we protect it

Information is held in systems we control, with access limited to the people who need it to run campaigns. Provider credentials are encrypted where they are stored, and connections to our systems use HTTPS.

No system is perfectly secure, and we will not claim otherwise. If information is exposed in a way that creates a real risk to you, we will tell you and any regulator we are required to tell.

Your choices

Whatever state you live in, you can ask us to do any of the following, and we will do it free of charge.

  • Tell you what we hold about you and where we got it.
  • Correct anything that is wrong.
  • Delete what we hold, except the record needed to keep you opted out.
  • Stop contacting you, which you can also do by replying STOP.

Email contact@leadreceive.com and we will answer within 30 days. We may need to confirm the phone number or address your request relates to before we act on it, so that we are not handing your information to someone else. We will not treat you differently for making a request.

You can also add your number to the National Do Not Call Registry, which we check before contacting anyone.

Children

Our service is for property owners and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe we hold information about a child, email us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page. If a change materially affects how we use information we already hold, we will say so on this page rather than changing it quietly.
